Start your boxing journey with our “Boxing 1” class, designed for beginners eager to learn the fundamentals of boxing. This one-hour session incorporates basic boxing techniques, including combinations and footwork, complemented by High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) for a full-body workout.

What You’ll Learn

  • Fundamentals of Boxing: Master basic stances, punches, and combinations.
  • Footwork Techniques: Improve your agility and ring movement.
  • Combination Drills: Practice punches with bag work incorporating real boxing scenarios.
  • Core Strength: Engage in exercises that build your core, essential for boxing.

Class Structure

  • Warm-Up (5-10 mins): Start with dynamic stretches and light cardio to get your heart rate up.
  • Main Session: Spend the majority of the class at the punching bags, working through a series of guided combinations. Interspersed HIIT exercises will keep the intensity high.
  • Cool Down (5-10 mins): Wind down with core strengthening exercises and a cool-down period, including stretching and any additional activities the coach includes.

  • Equipment: Hand wraps and gloves are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.
